ShemiaEssentials LLC based out of NY, was established in March 2021, during the height of the pandemic, initially offering
face shields. Over time, we expanded our product line to include reusable tote bags, makeup bags, crossbody
bags, earrings, headwraps, bonnets, brooches, magnets, and purse hooks—all featuring vibrant representations
of melanated women. Through these products, we aim to provide women with symbols of pride and self-
expression, promoting positive self-image and representation.

Our mission is to empower melanated women by providing accessories that not only reflect their beauty but also celebrate diversity and promote positive self-image.
